One of the ways God blesses our ministries is through providing hardworking volunteers. These men and women invest energy, hours, prayers, and resources, and God works greatly through their tireless efforts. We are very blessed in PF in having dedicated volunteers working alongside us, helping with ministry in Prison, Family work, and through Aftercare. They are vital to what we do and we are so thankful for each one.
Grace is our Volunteer Co-ordinator and her role is to manage our 50+ volunteers regularly active in all areas of the ministry. ‘
Pray that each of our volunteers would be reminded of their first calling as a follower of Christ. Pray for encouragement in their personal walk with God. As they pursue Christ first, they can then pursue others to follow God.
Pray for our 27 prison volunteers that actively serve our prisons. Ask God for new spirit-filled openings and opportunities in our prisons for volunteers to use their gifts and ministry calling to its full potential.
Pray that women would step forward to support vulnerable, lonely, hurting women in their homes; women who need listened to, encouraged, and given space to talk. We are in need of individuals for this area of volunteering.
Encourage each volunteer to walk closer to God and to stay true to God’s Word. Pray they would walk closer to Jesus each day, better equipped to serve the most vulnerable in our society. Pray they would embrace a real servant heart.
Thank God for committed believers, serving those in prison, community, and among families. Pray God’s protection and strength over their minds, families, churches and homes.
Pray for wisdom and strength for our staff in leading our volunteers. We seek divine opportunities in this difficult ministry. Pray for God’s leading and direction in each visit and gathering. We need God’s Spirit to direct each path.
