Christmas Hope is Prison Fellowship’s annual project to provide hampers and toys for families at a time of year when those impacted by crime can feel alone, forgotten and under extra financial pressure.
Last year, with the help of 82 faithful volunteers, we distributed 522 food hampers and 624 toy parcels, making a huge difference for many of these families. Items were donated by 90 contributors, including churches, community groups and individuals just like you!
Hundreds of children will wake up on Christmas morning to see a toy wrapped just for them! Each food hamper is worth more than £59 and helps a needy family at a very difficult time of year.
We are also committed to bringing hope and sending a Christmas card to each prisoner in Northern Ireland. All new family contacts will be offered ongoing support by PF family workers in the New Year.
Will you help us demonstrate God’s love in a very practical way this year?
Please note that PFNI is no longer collecting hamper items; instead, we encourage you to donate financially or consider gifting a toy. This helps us stretch every pound further, respond quickly to rising needs, and ensure every hamper is filled as we can purchase groceries directly at cost price.

The cost is approximately £20 and you can purchase them from large toy shops, some supermarkets and online on e.g. Amazon. Note, that we can only accept new gift items and nothing related to the police or emergency services. Please contact us for more information on how to send these items to us.
